Boca

Boca is originally one of the poorer quarters in Buenos Aires. But to attract more tourists that ideally also leave some money in the quarter the people there painted the houses as colourful as possible. So in the main streets of the quarter you find red and yellow and blue houses and some of them even have paintings on it. Many of them about Tango which also grew a lot again due to tourists. You can get a pictures with the Tango Dancers in the streets. So just something different than usual. This colourful setting usually comes along with street markets. All this is only a few quarters away from the bombonera, the stadium of the local and very successful soccer team, also named the Boca. I am sure you have the post about the game there before.
